Overview
The EVX Series is the MOLZEX all-rounder for home charging. The cable stays on the unit, so drivers do not have to carry their own, and the holster keeps the connector clean between sessions.
For Europe and most of Asia-Pacific the IEC versions cover 7.4 kW single-phase up to 22 kW three-phase with a Type 2 cable. For the USA and Canada, the North American versions run on 208–240 V split-phase at 32, 40 or 48 A with an SAE J1772 connector.
Load balancing and solar mode come with the series, so installers can connect it to an existing household supply without upgrading the main breaker in most cases.

A CT clamp measures the household load and lowers the charging current before the main breaker trips.

In solar mode the charger follows the PV surplus, so more of the energy comes from the roof.

FAQ
Which version do I need for the USA?
The -NA versions: 208–240 V split-phase input with an SAE J1772 cable, in 32 A, 40 A or 48 A.
Can it work with my solar inverter?
Yes. With the CT clamp installed, solar-surplus mode adjusts the current to the power the PV system exports.
Is OCPP included?
Yes. OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 are supported for connection to a charge-point management system.
